Prepare for airline success.
Experience has shown us that preparation is the most important factor in successful airline applications and interviews. Our Airline Interview Coaching Session guides you through airline recruitment processes, along with the various elements and phases that make up the interview.
The course establishes a foundation for interview standards with a range of airline operators around the world. In addition, it provides information specific to the processes of your preferred airlines, giving you the invaluable insight you need to gain a critical edge over other applicants.
The Airline Interview Coaching Session starts at the application phase, discussing airline selection process methods and optimal CV presentation. We’ll then look at HR interview skills, technical assessment expectations and group exercises. We focus on perfecting the skills required for optimum performance and analysing techniques in mock interview scenarios.
Led by a highly experienced airline career specialist, our airline pilot interview preparation programs have helped more than 200 pilots achieve success in their applications and interviews with a range of airlines around the world. Small class sizes allow for active student participation and create an effective learning environment, and the course can be delivered both face to face or online.
This module will assist in providing a practical insight into the processes for a range of airlines, and specifically the ones that course participants are planning on applying to. Participants will also develop a study pathway to assist in structured and ongoing preparation further down the track.
The HR interview is an important step for most airlines and operators. We explore the content of HR interviews, discuss various scenarios and delivery styles, and work together in a practical setting to develop response methods that will allow each participant to showcase their best qualities.
Whilst airlines differ in their approach and interview process, there are a number of key themes that are common to all operators. Whilst some of the knowledge areas may seem obvious, the best way to answer the questions themselves may not be. We discuss typical questions and the best way to respond to them in a group setting.
Group exercises demonstrating teamwork are an important component of the application process for many airlines. We look at human factors in group dynamics and work through practical team-based exercises similar to those used by airlines. We then analyse the results and conduct an open discussion about what personality factors contributed to the results.
Even for cadet entry positions, airlines expect that applicants have a level of technical aviation knowledge. During this module, we will review crucial technical knowledge subject areas and help participants to plan for further study if required, based on their aviation experience to date.
